....I'm not asking if you are a mechanical, electrical, chemical, or other species of engineer. I would like to know if you are an 8 hour-a-day engineer or a 24 hour engineer. I've known engineers who knew their job and others who I wondered how they ever passed their classes. Some engineers work at their job, go home to their families and forget about engineering until the next day. Some exhibit manual skills and are capable of fixing things, like cars or appliances around the house that break down, without the need of calling in a "professional". Others have no idea how to fix something or are not inclined toward such activity. Some have hobbies that take advantage of their engineering skills. In other words, do you apply your engineering skills to everyday solutions or just at the job?
