Nukes

03/19/2011 11:15 AM

How to stay safe and healthy as radiation from Japan reaches USA 1-Stop smoking. 2-Wear your seat belt. 3-Don't talk on phone or text while driving. 4-Look both ways before crossing the street. 5-Eat less. 6-Exercise more......... The point is every day people expose themselves to more danger than we can expect from any radiation that reaches us............. We are not getting full, accurate info on the damaged plants in Japan. Question, which is worse, not getting the truth because no one knows the truth, or they know the truth and are keeping it from us?

The only sure fire way to protect one's self is with a tin foil body suit and full coverage hat.

Better lead tin is not as efficient, one needs about 1/8" for protection. An exoskeleton will help for walking. DARPA has developed such devices.

It is not often that I can find a difference with you, but I'll stay with Aluminum (tin) foil.

It won't give me lead poisoning in case I have to wear it for extended periods of time, as the DARPA funded suit would.

And really, even if warnings were issued to stay inside due to increased radiation danger, they would be ignored by 95% of Americans. Or more.

AH, ignorance is bliss, and we are talking about California, aren't we.

OK let us consider a two-layers suit : alu in ald lead out. It will be more serious due to weight! You know what is light does not give a good feeling.

We need to invent a material that repels radiation.

Beware aluminum, it is pretty poisonous if in the reactive state.

Why have Alzheimer's patients aluminum enrichments in their brain?

Why is low Aluminum content of Albumin for infusions a measure of quality?

Why was alumium-hydrate banned and replaced by magnesium-hydrate as antiacids for stomach protection?

Why is aluminum (organic) in vaccines under heavy criticism of may play havoc with our children's health?

Likely some more open questions not answered!

just 3 steps away from the oven to get a nice juicy roast humanoid.

Perhaps, if there will be a lead foil, that will do. Just to think, Lead poisoning is another issue.

As if...

The only advantage some tin foil wrap can provide is that it will preserve/maintain bodily juices when cooked.

Better than being fried, anyway

Doesn't really matter. Just being ignorant is worse.

I heard a rumour that the sun puts out harmful radiation every day.

Not at night though.

I'm already immune to radiation damage. I sprinkle lead shavings over every meal every day.
