Tips On Cutting Buna-N (Nitrile) Rubber Tube Stock

I'm looking for tips on cutting Buna-N (nitrile) rubber tube stock. I have a 6" long piece with a 1-1/4" O.D. and about a 1/2" I.D. Is there a certain band saw blade or something else that works best? Thank you.

How many do you want to cut? (per day)
What is the hardness of the rubber?
How "square" do you ned the ends to be?
What is your tolerance on length?
Are there any longitudinal re-inforcing fibers in the wall section?
You will need to know the answers to these questions for a reasonable answer to your question. If you are to cut "heaps" of them, then I would imagine a shear rather than bandsaw being used. (No fluffy scrap to contaminated the pieces.)
I don't know where in the world you are located, but SUBA engineering could probably spec out a tube cutting machine from TECA for you.
We used a slightly modified wire cutting machine to cut around 2000 pieces per day of a thin walled tube with good results.
For smaller quantities, you could build a small guillotine to "chop" them (just like slicing paper).
Have fun.
