Distillation, filtration, centrifugation, absorption and evaporation will all work.

Antonio

GOOGLE the terms "oil water separator" and "desalter".....you will find devices an systems that will help you.

What kind of a tank is being used ? ... Carbon Steel ?

There may not be much left of your tank after 1 year........ consider replacement with an oil water separator.

Please respect us...... complete this thread by telling us of your final solution

Gravity will do it, given enough time. The water will drop to the bottom of the container and the crude will form the supernatant layer. Turn the agitator off!

Dear antonio,

I just read your post... For your information there is another technique has been used and I ever seen in the internet that Human hair can used to absorbed crude oil in the sea water. Separate in your word means remove right. So maybe this website could help your problem http://www.ehow.com/how_4480375_remove-oil-from-water-using.html

Dear mdjayham

To increase the MFI for the materials, maybe you can use lubricant..it can make your material easy to processed and flow. sometimes, we can use the recycle materials..but its depend on the application.some application is not suitable to use recycle materials. Recycle materials have thermal history..that is why it can used to reduce the MFI value. Hopefully this could help you or you can ask who are expert in this area...
