RJ45 Connections for Cat5 Cable

Dear Sirs: i need a scheme for RJ45 jacks connection type A & B for CAT5 cable

Hello

I think this can help you:

Side A

  1. wh/or - Tx+
  2. orange - Tx-
  3. wh/gr - Rx+
  4. blue - phone or NC
  5. wh/bl - phone or NC
  6. green - Rx-
  7. wh/br - NC
  8. br - NC

In side B is Rx and Tx swapped for a twisted cable.

Non twisted cable is used between computer or unit and hub. A twisted cable between two computers or two hubs.

If you look to www.adckrone.com and link through to the Technical Reference, Industry Standards, Jack Pin-outs you will find a succinct page which shows not only the generic T568A and B RJ45 configurations, but also pin-outs showing the colour and functionality of the pairs applicable to various protocols.

Ganter, may I add: first click to the Australia in the opening page map; otherwise the links mentioned will not be found...(leastwise, not on the U.S. home page.
