Talked to my Minnesota neighbor this morning. Snowed last week and 28°F this morning.

Here in Phoenix, it's 72° and sunny.

The voting at The Weather Channel is over. Fargo North Dakota has, by popular vote, the worst weather in the United States. I would not disagree.

It has snowed every day for the last four, and we expect yet another spring storm in the next two days, bringing more snow and 0^oF temps. It is 18 April. Come on!

In North Dakota you take your snow tires off in June and regret doing so in July. I cannot imagine why there are more than twenty motorcycles registered here... when do people ride them? The ice freezes so thick on the lakes some people will use a motorhome on the ice for a fishing house! There are still many, many lakes that are mostly frozen over.

I has a robin bouncing around on the roof of a yard storage shed yesterday... poor little guy, he has no idea.

[edit] I realize this comment will be met with a guffaw from Tornado... AK has a few cold weather related issues of her own... and biting insects... and snowpack...
