Can I have codec replacements to get PCM?

04/09/2007 1:02 PM

Hi friends;

I am working on a project that uses CODEC IC 44233; but i am havivg shortage of this IC. Actually, i had enough but due to some reasons one of the ICs is not working. Can I use some other IC to replace the codec 44233 from old computers or old telephone or some other devices?
