Progress Report of Research Project at MIT

04/08/2007 10:01 PM

Graduate Students at MIT; Ali Rahimi, Ben Recht , Jason Taylor , Noah Vawter have received permission to publish the results of their research project. The work was completed and the report prepared for distribution in February 2005. Bureaucratic restrictions delayed release until just recently.

Your can read the report titled:

On the Effectiveness of Aluminium Foil Helmets: An Empirical Study

at the following URL: <http://people.csail.mit.edu/rahimi/helmet/>

Excellent work Where did you get all those ideas. Million dollar worth for sure. You are next in the making of Bill Gates. Good starting point. Did you tell NASA people or are they not already calling you by now? No joke. I think they should if they have not done it by now.

My strong vote is for this research.

Congratulations.

I believe the poster is not one of the researchers. Shouldn't you should be addressing them and not the person who started this thread?

For many years, people have been complaining about radio waves passing through them without permission from a wide variety of sources, as though it is some kind of invasive thing.

There are actually medical statistics correlating brain cancer in children with housing proximity to high tension wires.

Then somebody got the idea of protecting his/her brain against the RF with an aluminum foil helmet. I have actually seen people wearing this accessory around town!

Now that the MIT study has proven that the aluminum helmets don't accomplish the task, what are the radio-wave paranoids going to do for protection?

Perhaps the problem is that the helmets were not grounded. The wearer should have been wearing shoes with copper cleats wired to the helmet. But not in a rainstorm.

Mark

They need a complete head cover with no gaps bigger than 1/4 wave of the highest frequency they want to block to do a good job.

These MIT sort of hemispheres are nothing but badly formed parabolic reflectors with the brain stem at the focus

Now why not? A partial Faraday cage is better than nothing at all. I dunno, this looks like a real money-making opportunity to me. Wonder how many paranoics Out There would spring some big bucks for a Tempest-certified mu-metal bunny suit?

That's hilarious! Finally, something useful comes from MIT . I wonder how many paranoid people out there are changing their helmets because of this ...

Hi europium it is a good thing that this person you show knows nothing about any thing of importance like engineering let alone where to find any information or you would be being sued by now.
