what the required data and design to change power transmission system from toothed belt to v belt ?

design to pully and belt

how to check reliability of new system ?

1. Hp/kw of motor
2. Rpm of motor
3. Rpm of driven device
4. Centerline distance of pulleys
5. Dimensions of belt guard, if new drive must fit into the same space.
6. Shock loading factor, or type of machinery being driven.

Quite often the website of the belt, sheaves (pulleys) manufacturer have an engineering section to help people correctly size the drive components.

Check with your supplier to get the web address if you have trouble finding it on your own.
