Hi all,

I work in a company who makes combined cycle power plant. one of our contractor wants to supply MOV actuator of HRSG area from a korean company named Morgan. Does anyone have any information about quality & reference of this manufacturer? I have not even heard its name yet!

your kind reply is highly appreciated.

I am currently working in thermal power plant owned by korean. most of the MOVs were made from korean manufacturer (Seibu Morgan). Our Plant is just newly in commercial operation but operated almost a year since the commisioning period.

there are some MOVs have problem with the electronic circuitry but just rear. So far, the operation is good.

Best,

I checked about quality of MORGAN MOV again and I found that these actuators are too heavy therefore, they affect on piping and need more support rather than MOV of other supplier.

Is your contractor a Korean (Doosan Heavy Industries)?
