can anybody tell me what is damping and what is the use of damping in transmitter.

Yes we can, but if you have to ask then it's time to return to your circuit analysis 101 textbook, this is not a homework site, try Googling first.

Fair enough. As was pointed out by others, the University of Google/Wikipedia will provide a starting point for your studies, until then you can think of damping as a way of smoothing out a signal so that the meter reading is relatively stable even though the variable being measured is bouncing around a central value, similar to the way a shock absorber helps to smooth out the bumps in the road for your car.
