I'm not using Windows 7, still using XP Pro. But I do remember seeing something about a sparse memory matrix and sparse files being significantly improves in 7. Chances are you have nothing to worry about... but if someone knows better I'm all ears.

I tend to agree... that said Windoze is 'occupying' a large slice of real estate that would be far better utilized with a _real_ OS like... say... linux... ;^) just say'in.
Honestly, I had a hard time reconciling the question with any reasonable answer; 90Gb simply doesn't make sense unless it's a backup of his whole system; then the nature of the complaint becomes suspicious.
Sometimes I miss the old days with DOS 5.0, Lantastic, AILANBIO, and my TallGrass DC6250 tapes... just say'in ;^)

I don't know if this will help: Windows might be reserving that space for the system (backups &/or normal operation) and it could be that this value can be tuned down if required, but normally Windows recommends and automatically reserves that space.
At least it used to do this in previous versions. Windows 7 may still be the same since it needs a lot of memory (Virtual ) to supplement the RAM on the PC (???)
Dood, a system image is like a picture of your computer which can be used to restore your computer if anything untoward happens to it. Usually its a bit pointless having it on your computers hard drive cause chances are if your computer gets messed you'll lose that along with everything else. What I do is have the system image, alongside a backup of all the hard drive files on a portable hard drive (Seagate 500GB). That way you can restore your entire computer files and settings if your hard drive needs to be formatted or if it fails epicly whatever
Run the following command "net user administrator /active:no" *********
Or**************
run the "sysprep /generalize" command next time the computer starts, the built-in Administrator account will be disabled.**************
Someone got sloppy after configuration and didn't delete it.***********
