Need HELP Transferring Data from Smith Corona PWP to CD

05/03/2011 1:21 PM

I have university writings, etc. and works that are ready for publication on SC PWP discskettes (sic) and I need help/suggestions on how to transfer the data to CD format, rather than using a very expensive data transfer service.

Thanks-

Hi GinaK,

There's lots of info on the internet if you do a search. I typed smith corona word processor file format and this is what came up.

Find a converter for the files into something you can use with your current word processing program, and write the files to the CD.

Print the files, scan them and use a good OCR.
