Optimum Performance of Diesel Generating Sets

Dear All,

I would like to know if a diesel generating set is loaded upto 95%, does it optimum performance guaranteed. Else, what is the recommended percentage load for Optimum performance.

The manufacturer will be able to give you this information.

A call to the manufacturer and tell them what you want optimising, is it the lowest cost per kWhr?

You have to see the Load Vs eff curve of the engine first.The total eff of the set will be the product of the eff of eng and alt .
