Solution Heat Treatment for Stainless Steel Material

Hello everyone,

Stainless steel material shall be solution heat treated? I am not quite sure why the material is to be solution heat treated.

Is it common Mill has the material do solution annealing? What is the main effect with doing solution annealing for stainless steel? I mean, what is specific difference in case of the material which is not solution heat treated ?

Also, please teach me the process of solution heat treatment.
