Permanent Magnet Torque Motor

05/14/2011 6:54 AM

I would like to know if anyone from our Forum has used Permanent Magnet Torque Motor. It is claimed that we can eliminate Gear Box as out put RPM of the motor is low and can be varied as per requirement. This can result in great saving in cost of Gear Box and space saved. Also maintenance cost can be saved as no need to replace bearings and gears.Although these motors are expensive but can be cost saver in long run.

Please give your comments. Thanks.
