Reading between the lines it seems you have a diesel generator set that runs properly isolated but when it is synchronized to another set the frequency runs up to 65Hz. If this is the case have you checked all the wiring and interconnections between your sets, are they all set to parallel mode, is the droop set correctly, have you read the instruction manual and/or checked with the manufacturer/supplier?

I don't know f your problem is directly related to the Woodward 2301A, but you might want to look at this and you might also want to check for any updated service bulletins. DJ

This is not clear!

If the unit is already in parallel with the grid (or other gensets), there will be a problem for it to go up to 65 Hz by itself!

Either the wole grid goes up to 65 or this unit will trip out of the grid ! Which is the case?

If the whole grid is going up to 65Hz, then find out why and which unit is pulling the grid frequency up. It must be a heavy unit!!

If this unit is doing it (??), then the Unit has a defect. Try using it on its Own (single) and see if the Frequency plays arround.

Have you phoned the genset manufacturer for advice? If not, why not?
