GRB 110328A GAMMA RAY BURST

05/17/2011 4:04 PM

What little I know of this is that it occurred about the Time the Scientists tell us that the Earth was Created. I would like all the information and media, credible and objective please, that I can obtain. Even fact based opinion would be good.

Thank You Very Much

Very Sincerely

The latest info is that the Earth was formed about 4.6 billion years ago, GRB 110328A occurred about 3.8 bya, so the Earth was about 800 million years old when the radiation reached the planet. The beginnings of life appeared on Earth when the Earth was nearly a billion years old. The timing is close, but is there a connection? I can't think of any reason why there would be, and I'm not sure how a connection could be established. There are only a few places left on Earth where you can still find rock that is as old as the Earth itself.

Thanks for the Reply.

I don't know if there is a connection.

Though that's exactly what I want to understand.

Thanks again

I don't understand the word "Burgler"; should that be "Burglar" or "Bungler" or "Bugler"?
