LPS-Rolling Sphere Method

Dear Members, i need help with Lightning protection design. its the one part of design i am inadequate. unfortunately the materials i hav now are not that deep.

i need a clear explanation on the application of the rolling sphere method, wud appreciate examples, zone protection and LPS classifications.

Check out this tutorial. It gives a good overview of how the rolling sphere method works, as well as other methods. You can also check IEEE Std 998-1996 (referenced in the tutorial).
