Can you give an example of any Process Industry Practice (PIP) in any format as a clue ?

Been at it for some 50 years and never heard of PIP. Hope someone comes up with something, it's never too late to learn.

You can obtain PIPs here www.pip.org but I think you know that. To obtain them you simply pay $ per PIP of your choice.

Are you really looking to obtain PIPs for nil cost?

The PIPs that these folks are promoting are really the product of a particular consortium of industry participants in a particular part of the world. They appear to be documented guidelines and procedures of what we would normally find and use around the world and know as good engineering practice.

If these are the ones, just pay for the ones you want.

Probably, the company you're working now have these standards already, better ask them first. Else, you can still dig deeper on the net, although I think you can only see summarized PIPs only.
