my father runs his manufacturing bussinesss of cycle parts. so i wanted to know that which engineering i should opt for should i take mechanical, chemical, civil enginering.........Which is having more scope in coming 5 years
If your objective is to work with your father to help him run his business (and eventually take over) don't worry about a formal engineering degree program. Stick close to your father and become his apprentice. He'll teach you far more than you will learn in any formal engineering degree program.
Instead of a formal degree program, enroll in more informal technical college classes, online training programs, seminars, workshops, etc. as needed.
A few of the brightest, most capable and most creative "engineers" that I encountered over the years were not degreed engineers (and some with advanced engineering degrees were dumber than a box of rocks).
Remember, that Bill Gates (Microsoft) and many other well known successful business people do not have college degrees.
Don't sell formal engineering degrees short (I happen to have a couple) but recognize them for what they are and for what they are not.
Frankly speaking its totally depends on you and your interest. no matter what your father bussiness is about. look for your future what can you make best
1) Do you like construction, planning and designing building
2) Do you like Machine and its parts
3) You have interest in electrical parts and work
4) You have interset in computers and softwares
