Dg Sync

Generator Load Sharing Probelm ie KVAR shearing problem when we synchronised 7 DG's 2mva each MV DG's .Always finding reverse power when we take out the load from the Sync. ed sets.kindly help out

Are all DGs share almost equal power when running synchronized. Are you find any power fluctuation at any of the 7 DGs when in operation. On which DG you are facing problem while un-loading.

I think, may be problem with one DG pulling to reverse power. If you are not sure of the culprit, then you should try following:

1) Unload any one of the DG and run in island on load and again unload and switch off. If working OK, it is OK. Then take it to normal operation.

2) Then, check the second DG and other DGs in same way, you will find the culprit, I am sure.

This is very long procedure and also effects your system too, but this is the only way to tackle this type of issues.
