Caustic Settling Tank

Dear sir,

I ve been charged to design a caustic (48 wt%) settling tank (500 m3) with conical bottom.

how much conical volume should i consider to ensure proper settling. The settling time is 3.0 days for the tank.

Without such basic information as density of particles, particle size range, density of fluid, viscosity of fluid, etc., it is not possible to come up with an answer.
