Generators Efficiency

I am trying to find the efficiency of generators,,, not the engine or motor but the generator only,,, Any help locating information,,, and the sizes the efficiency numbers match.

You must be able to measure the torque the generator receives to get any usefull accuracy. S.M.

Measure the efficiency of the system as a whole. E.G. measure the amount of fuel consumption over an hour time fame as well as monitoring the overall output of the generator, then divide the two. See here. Then calculate the efficiency of the motor alone. See here. Then you can see how much extra is lost within the generator and can calculate it that way.
