Material for life jacket (personal floatation device)

hi

Im a student major material science, mostly over metal stuff. At this time i try manufacture life jacket after solas 1972. Until now i still cant physically to vary in Nylon fabric and the one that solas 1972 Nylon fabric approved of. Basicly i dont even know what solas agenda describe their rule about PFD, because i cant find their agenda in website :(

Any help, suggestion, opinion would be helpful :)

These are material that i chose:

• Material: 200D x 200D nylon
• Finishing: acrylic PU coated twice, water repellent

Pict example (the fabric that i like, but cant recognize the fabric yet, it should be around 400D): 400 denier coated nylon
