IE Rules Vs CEA Rules

06/28/2011 7:49 AM

Hi All,

Please can any one advise- At present in India if IE rules are still a Statutory requirement or it has been replaced by CEA regulations which have come into affect since Sept'2010?

Thanks a lot in advance

Indian bureaucracies have honestly earned their reputation for being baffling, insolent, and generally being less than helpful, so I understand your desire to get your answers here instead of from the correct bureaucrat. Unfortunately for you though, the bureaucrat has the authority you need to answer your question. CR4 does not have this authority. If you are lucky, several members here may know which Indian bureaucracy and statutes you should work with.

Good Luck
