	Hi friends, I want to know why the tandem isolators are used in EHV substation. Further, what are the main features / functions and advantage of using tandem isolator. Thanks

	In order to divide the OHV cable effort by each line of one chain of insulators. Each chain of insulator discs can support only a certain value of strengh. That's all.
