Everlast Power Equipment Plasma Cutters Defective

07/19/2011 5:48 PM

I bought an Everlast 70 plasma Cutter and it has never worked. From day one I have been trying very patiently to have the machine fixed or exchange to no avail, and I have come to the conclusion that Everlast manufactured a defective brand of products unable to do what it was supposed to. I consider that Everlast is ripping off customer like myself. I know there are several buyers in a similar situation. I'm planning to pursue a legal battle against Everlast and I would like to invite those that have had the same experience to joint forces with me.

I am guessing you are posting this here because you found my blog http://cr4.globalspec.com/blogentry/8086/The-Everlast-Plasma-Cutter-That-Didn-t-Last

While I did not have a good time dealing with the company, in the end I got my money back and that was all I was looking for. The battle in dealing with them to get that was more than I wanted, and I have no interest in pursuing it any further.

I understand your point. In my case, so far I have gotten nothing, only expenses and headaches. I just contacted my credit card company and the Credit Business Bureau. Everlast should stop that kind of business practices. If everybody complaints eventually this company will run out of business.

only thing I remember about those is they will not work with less than 100 lb of air pressure. I do not know the model numbers it was a long time ago.

I do not know where your from but here we take our welders with problems we can not solve to a DC motor repair shop they repair almost any type of welder and motors.

hope this helps

OMG again a bad Chinese product. We have common saying here "Costlier product will cry only once but cheaper one will cry 100 times". Well if knowingly you have bought cheaper product you have to cry 100 times.
