Frequency Test With Time Delay

07/19/2011 6:30 PM

Hi,

how do you set up on the doble Protest software, the 15sec. time delay for the 59Hz under frequency relay test with LRAMPF macro.

Thanks,

LRAMPF is the wrong macro to use for this. That is a linear ramp of frequency, which would be used to check pickup. If you want to test the delay time, first set your delay to zero on the relay, and use LRAMPF to find the pickup value. Adjust your relay pickup if needed.

Then set the time delay back to 15 sec, and use a test frequency of just under the 59Hz pickup value in the TIMEF macro to test your time delay.
