what is bus zone and check zone in bus bar protection?

Hi

When you protect your busbar you actully have the following circuits in your panel

1. Zone 1 protection

2. Zone 2 protection

3. Check zone protection

This is for configaration of two busbars....

Whenever a fault occurs on your busbar 1 the "Zone 1+ check zone" will operate and

take out busbar 1.......the same for busbar 2

the check zone is actully a policeman to check on your Zones 1 and 2

In order for a buszone operation you need both z1+check zone operation

wheather bus zone and check zone have seperate set of CTs? and both of them should act simultaniously for acting bb protection?

I just want to know if you have any ideas or good read books about Bus Bar Protection ? Specially on Stability and Sentivity test for Bus Bar protection..
