I can't read your graphic either but based upon my assumption that you have a data file error do the following to fix the data file errors. The scanpst tool will fix file problems in Office Outlook.

If you are using XP as your operating system: click Start, click Run, type scanpst.exe, and then click OK.

If using Win 7: click Start, type scanpst.exe in the search box, and then click Enter.

This is a Microsoft tool for recovering and repairing files in Outlook.

If you want a more informative article visit this Microsoft link:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287497

What I told you in the previous post is the quick and uncomplicated way to do it. Microsoft will lead you through their convoluted and probablly correct way of doing it.

Good luck.

Check out this help page from Microsoft:

LINK

Be sure to read the part about "Resolving indexing issues", especially the part about enabling "Cached Exchange Mode", if you can't enable Cached Exchange Mode, it may be that your network admin has disabled that function.

If you are able to turn on the cached mode, it's going to take a lot of room on your local machine to create/update the .OST file, from your screen shot, it looks like you have a LOT of messages in your Outlook account (almost 21,000).

Hope that helps.

I looks like your IT department has disabled this function, I would say the next step would be to ask your IT people if this is intentional, and if it is, ask them how you are to search with this function disabled. Perhaps there is a another way to do what you are trying to do.

Ahmad,

My reply was for either of you. Do you have an IT department that is managing your Outlook (Exchange Server)? If you are not able to select the box for "Cached Exchange Mode" because it's greyed out, it could be because your IT department has disabled that function. You will need to contact them to find another solution to searching email.

Re: Emails Search in MS Outlook 2007 (Help)

Yes, you want to change that value to 0 (zero), but please be sure to create a backup of the registry before you do your edits. Once you run "regedit", go to:"File", "Export" and save a copy of the registry before you do the edits. That creates a backup of your registry, and you can restore the registry from this back up if things go wrong while editing it.

I do not know what the other registry values would do (1,2 etc.), I found that process with a Google search, while trying to assist you, I am certainly no Outlook expert, just pretty good at finding the answers when I need them.

I hope this solves your problem.

Try recover outlook mail. It restores .pst and .ost files up to 16TB. Tool can save restored outlook data as .eml, .vcf, .txt formats. Utility has built-in recovery wizard is suitable for novices and experts too.
