Optical Fibre Cable

I needed an OFC as per specas below
Type : ArmoredNumber of fibres : 24Number of loose tubes : 4Number of fibres per loose tube : 6 (Six)but supplier sent an OFC withType : ArmoredNumber of fibres : 24Number of loose tubes : 6Number of fibres per loose tube : 4
so what will be the effect in operation?Please tell me.

24 fibres is what determines how many connections you can make, so No, no difference.

However, as stated by CWarner7, it may affect how/where you connect to the fibres, as each of the 4 inner tubes will now have 6 fibres inside, instead of having 4 fibres in each of 6 separate tubes.

Optic Fibre Cables sort the fibres into tubes to assist with physical protection & ease of identification within the sheath/tube. Any fibre within the sheath can do the same job as another. See diagram (supplied for those of you who may not already be familiar with fibre layouts within an O/F cable)

Why don't you try to ask a fiber optic cables expert with regards to this? Maybe they can help you out.
