Interesting link.

I found this in the Future of LCD section: "As vacuum tubes were replaced by semiconductors, LCDs are expected to start assuming all the roles that CRTs are now fulfilling."

What is the credibility of that statement? Aren't there other technologies competing with LCD?

cathode ray tube is other technology which is similar purpose of lcd .

lcd requires less electric power. it is operated by battery also. it is especially used in note book or laptop

resolution is very good compare with other. because each pixel has one transistor.
