Looking for a Date? Use Game Theory (Audio)

08/15/2005 8:40 AM

Interesting and amusing story about a formula developed by University College, London mathematicians detailing success in picking up members of the opposite sex. Originally broadcast on NPR - it's about 5 minutes long.

It's somewhat sad that the main "mathematical" postulate is to buy her expensive gifts.

Take Care!

Women = Money x Time

Time is Money, therefore

Women = Money2

But: Money is the root of all trouble (yes, I know that's not the exact quote, but stick with it!), so

Money = Trouble1/2

Substituting, this gives:

Women = (Trouble1/2)2

Women = Trouble
