Help For ASME Audit

I'm sorry for the lack of details.

Our company is dealing with Fabrication of ASME Pressure Vessel and Heat Exchanger.

We are Using ASME Code Sec. VIII Div. 1 & 2 to fabricate Vessel and Heat Exchanger.

And this year (2011) ASME Personnel will conduct an Audit with us and our schedule is on 2nd week of October, that's why I'm preparing for it, I'm searching possible question or documents that might be asking during Audit time. So if could anyone knows. please kindly share any thought & ideas.

1. Read and understand the various clauses of ASME on which you will be audited.

2. Prepare the required documentation like quality records, preventive and corrective actions, control of drawings etc. There shall be supportive documents too for some cases. Every where reference documents should match.

3. While questioning by auditors, answer shall be from your documents only, not from outside. Proof of it can be shown to them, if they so desired.

4. Any moment of time they should not feel that you are hiding or cooked-up some thing.

5. Their time should not be wasted for pity things, like searching for documents.

6. Keep cleanliness and good house keeping of working area. If you are 5-S certified, its an added advantage.
