The detailed attachement by Iyn is self explainatory.

To keep the vacuume intact in the turbine, gland sealing steam is supplied to both end glands but to limit the too much steam at end of the glands, the exhaust of steam is sucked through gland vent condensers along with some air by an ejector which works as vacuume pump. Steam gets condensed to water in the condensor which is recycled to boiler through polishing unit and air is vented to atmosphere.
