Minimum Distance Between Welds

What is the acceptable minimum distance between two welds in process piping or on a vessel as per ASME or API standards

I don't have a clue. But, it isn't my job. If it was my job, I'd have the applicable specifications/standards in my library.

I'm not sure any Code requirement exists, but there is a common practice of the greater of 2t or 2 inches (50mm). [Or sometimes 2.5t.]
