Originally saw the Gorilla film during an ISO 9000 training class. The Instructor's point was that when you concentrate too hard on the obvious you tend to miss the subtleties. Also that when you see the things in the processes that need changing you tend to overlook them since "that's the way we've been doing it all along so why does it need changing."
