Concrete Flooring Acid Staining

This isn't a hard process. Put the stain on with a paint roller.

We did this in a fairly large area in our party facility and it looks great. Before we stained the floor we cut a shallow saw kirf every 24" so the floor looks like large tile were laid. We put down lines on the floor with a chalk line and used a walk behind saw to cut the kirfs.

Once the stain dried we put on 2/3 coats of wax which brings a good finish sheen to the floor.

We also did this on a 75' x 100' patio outside. On that one we did a different color in a random pattern which gave it more of a mottled look. That certainly takes more time because you want to keep the tile lines clean. We didn't put any finish on the outside area.
