Difference in Current

08/29/2011 10:40 AM

sir,

we have a 220KV substation with 160 MVA transformer conncted to 110KV BUS.The transformer is auto transformer with one transformer for each phase. The % impidance is 10.31 on avarage for each transformer. The 110 BUS is conncted to 110KV substation which is 9.55KM away from 220KV substation. The fault MVA of 110KV substation is given 1327MVA.

is that correct?.

110kv SUBSTATION IS CONNECTED BY 220KV SUBSTATION 3.5 KM by double circuit with equal spacing,6 KM by bundled conductor(2 for each phase).

question

at peak time the current drawn by each 110KV feeders are same.but at light load there is a diffrence of 8 A .why is it happening sir.

There is also difference of voltage in each phase.what is the reason for this.

Are you sure that this isn't a Home Work Question?

"light load there is a diffrence of 8 A" - what type of Load?

In your case, you have the Power Swing, overheating and stability problem.
