Paint Strip Chemical Fume Extractor

08/31/2011 10:08 AM

I am using a paint strip chemical at a temperature of around 75 deg, and pH value around 10. it generates fumes which are not healty, and i can not have an outlet for the blower attachment to throw the fumes out.

I am looking for a way to dissolve these fumes internally and make a closed system,

does some body have an idea to do this...

chemical is used to trip of paint from mainly components of cast iron, mainly engine components

Look into an air scrubber, or fume scrubber.

Yeah...scrubbing is the process... i was thinking to make the fumes soluble in water, and then throw that out..i will try this

the chemical that i am using is environment friendly, and taking up a new chemical may take some time in tests etc....but yes, any other chemical can be developed with probably less harmful odour.
