Energy Efficiency of Glastherm

Please help me to find the energy efficiency of a new insulation material called glastherm which we had installed in our molds in rubber compression moulding.I have the following datas available.

While moulding,the temp.of mould(outside) where no insulation is present is 125oc.

the temp. over the insulation sheet fixed to the same mould(outside) is 100oc.

Thermal conductivity of insulator is 1.8 BTU/hr/ft2/in/0F

The size of insulation sheet is 50x100x6 cm

Junior,

Energy efficiency cannot be determined by the information you provide. Insulation efficiency can.

You need to look at the difference in power consumption between the insulated/non-insulated tooling.
