In three phase system only two possibilities of connections Star and Delta. Line current = 1.732xPhase current (in delta), Line current = Phase current (In star).

These terms can be confusing because they are sometimes used incorrectly. Generally line current is associated with a "Y" configuration and the missing words help keep it straight. The full term is "Line to Neutral" current. In the Delta configuration, without a neutral, you only have phase current. If the term "Line current" is being used in describing a delta system, the implication is that the reference is to the current in the wire, which is phase current.

Is it then what about current flowing through a three phase incoming supply just after a star to delta conversion of a motor.I think its value is 1.732 times Phase current.

I believe that line current is current drawn from the supply, in star it is the same as phase current but in delta it is 1.732... times the phase current

Spelling? Jokes apart, Line Current is the current that flows in the "Lines" or the supply wires from the source to the equipment. Phase Current is the current flowing in the respective phase "windings" of the equipment.
