Dell Laptop Trouble shoot

my dell m2400 wont start it goes to the this black screen that says matrix something and it just stays i need help immediatly

Unplug the power supply.

Remove the battery.

Wait 10 minutes.

Insert battery.

Connect the power supply.

Press power button on.

Might work, might not.
