Trays Replacement

09/29/2011 7:00 AM

1. Washing drum 5 bubble cap trays are damaged. Now they're being replaced with sieve trays. What are the things to be checked during this change over?

2. What will be the change in tube surface temp when Refractory is changed in a flat surface / cylindrical surface (like SRU Thermal Oxidizer / FCC Regenerator)?

Original refractory TC - 0.4 W/m. K, proposed Refractory TC - 1.0 W/m. K Thickness - 90 mm Flue gas temp - 900 deg C, Amb Air - 40 deg C. Others can be varied as per reqd.

You should stop wasting Our/your time here and ask the tray supplier directly these questions.

He is the only one who has a financial stake in the outcome.
