Slope of Buchholz Relay

hello every1 my ques. Is, why inlet pipe of Buchholz relay mounted at 5 to 8 degree incline. What is purpose of slope. Is there any standard for slope.please guide me . Thanks in advance

So that the gas generated in the tank should not escape & accumulate in the top most portion of transformer that if conservator top.If it happens so,the buccholz will actuate very lately.You can guess what will happen to the transformer.

The first Buch-Holz Relay was mounted at an inclination of 7 degrees. No problems were observed. Everybody followed.
