Looking for a Partner for Vehicular Energy Recovery Business

10/09/2011 5:40 PM

I am looking for businessmen interested in vehicular energy efficiency.

Our company designs and produces large electrical power converters similar to those used by hybrid vehicles. I am looking for an entrepreneur with a mechanical background operating a business related to light truck maintenance.

The objective is to develop an aftermarket kits for delivery vehicles. We have the capability to design and produce the power electronics and electrical accumulators but lack the mechanical expertise and logistic.

We would like to form a partnership to evaluate the commercial and technical feasibility, produce some test prototype and eventually setup a network of distributors and installers.

Interested parties, please use the CR4 emails for one on one discussion.

Of coarse, I am always interested in reading the comments from other members regarding this subject.

Thank you all.

Oooh, one of those phantom threads in which nobody knows what is going on....

I don't know what the state of microtube or microchannel heat exchangers is these days, but they might suit some of the goals.

Energy recovery in vehicles could be achieved in many ways-heat in exhaust heat could be used for refrigeration/air conditioning, heat in radiator water also could be harnessed similarly,a turbo generator driven by exhaust gas can drive a compressor for refrigeration/air conditioning, by cooling the exhaust manifold power output could be increased, by installing a wind powered generator on the vehicle electricity could be generated etc
