There's a great article in ecmweb.com that explains it all very well.

I would like to understand why no one will take the time to do their own search. What are the various types of personalities that think it's fine to come here and have us do the work.

It's simple you strip the outer covering off the cable and wind the cores around the termination. Add lots of PVC tape around the termination.

Jobs a good un!

Are you familiar with Google?

You will be amazed at what you could find with little more effort than what brought you here.

Have a look at the video in this link.

Although the video shows a 3 conductor termination being done in 4:18 minutes, it actualy takes 45 minutes to one hour.

The two common types are hot and cold shrink.

HV (HT) terminations must be done very presicly and to the letter of the instructions.

Failre to follow and understand the instructions could result in something similar to this.

Please contact Raychem for assistance. Various technologies are being used , most prominent being heat shrink and cold applied. Heat shrink is the most flexible option and the designs you can go in for is Rayfit for Joints and Uniterm for terminations . for screened connections for swichgear , Elbow connections are available. Installation training and services are also available
