Viking Ship Made of Popsicle Sticks Sets Sail

A Viking longboat replica replica made of 15 million popsicle sticks will set sail from Amsterdam in what organizers hope will be the start of a record-breaking voyage across the Atlantic Ocean. The 15-meter long ship took two years to build. It's held together by glue.

It must have given them an awful ice cream headache eating all of those popsicles...
It is interesting that some of the sticks were given by school students to be included in the project. I wonder how they cleaned them all?
