This car has the check engine light on all the time and occasionally the traction control light comes on. The only running problem is slight hesitation off idle occasionally. According to the mechanic the traction control light comes on as an additional light if the first one has been on for a long time or if additional codes/problems arise. The car has an aftermarket intake filter and pipe. The codes that come up are as follows. The first time we had it checked it was - PO771 fuel system to lem book 1 and PO177 fuel system to lem book 2. The dealer service department told us the values with the aftermarket intake were out of range of the sensor and the engine was running slightly lean. The next time it was checked these were the codes - PO440* Evap system fault and PO101 Maf/vat circuit ranger performance. We were told these were caused by the same problem as earlier. The question is where do I obtain a sensor that will work with the intake and what will need to be done for calibration or is there an available retuning program that will compensate?
